Based in Melbourne VIC, Tori teaches Yoga across the Inner West.

Tori first enrolled in Yoga Teacher Training in Australia when she was just nineteen years old, studying Hatha and the Power Yoga technique of Baron Baptiste, Yin Yoga technique of Paul Grilley & Bernie Clark, and meditation. This training became a pivotal moment in Tori’s life, inspiring a commitment to practice and continuous svādhyāya (self-study). Over the next six years, Tori continued to expand her understanding of Yoga philosophy and refine her own asana and meditation practice.

Feeling a call to encapsulate traditional lineages of Yoga, Tori sought out a second 200-hour training in the “motherland of Yoga”, India. At twenty-six years of age, Tori went to study in Rishikesh, training in Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga. Hosted in an ashram, this training included modules in Ayurveda (the sister science of Yoga) and somatic healing techniques (bodywork), daily recitation of mantra and rigorous asana practice, in-depth study of the 8 Limbs of Yoga, and anatomy. These classes were taught by Indian teachers, all of whom are lifelong students of Yoga, teaching from a place of cultural connection. The authenticity of their teachings inspired Tori to consider the ways we can adopt this ancient tradition into our ever-changing modern lifestyles, whilst decolonising our practice.

Tori’s passion for ancient Yogic philosophy, history and practice has shaped a deep, all-encompassing teaching style, anchored in the roots of a profound, holistic tradition. She seeks to create a space for her students to experience Yoga as a means of liberation, surrender and devotion. Knowing Yoga as more than just a means of maintaining a healthy body, Tori has experienced the effects it can have on the mind and our connection to spirit, and remains committed to ongoing svādhyāya (self-study); ever the student of Yoga.

I had my first session with Tori recently. I had never experienced this type of healing before. I was slightly nervous as I knew that I was going to be quite vulnerable emotionally. Tori made me feel safe and comfortable instantly. She was planned and prepared and had taken the time to consider what I needed individually for my session. The session itself was amazing. Nurturing, intense and peaceful. I felt an immense shift energetically and have felt the benefits physically and emotionally for some weeks after. Tori has a gift and I feel very blessed we have crossed paths and I have been able to experience this gift first hand. I am really looking forward to the next experience.

Tori was an incredible instructor. I felt so comfortable to go at my own pace. She created a safe and inviting space and I felt so centred and aligned following the class.

Tori is highly professional, I have attended a 1-1 session with her, which consisted of yoga poses, stretches and massage. She is highly compassionate, as she really listens to your needs, tailoring the session around your physical and emotional needs. She utilizes a trauma informed care approach, by gaining consent in the case you prefer to be touched or not. Her voice is also very calming and help you to follow the instructions smoothly.
Thank you very much Tori!

Tori is such a beautiful person. I instantly feel calm when walking into the room. I love that there isn’t any pressure to do anything that you don’t feel comfortable with.

I just went to Tori’s class in Williamstown and it’s probably the best yoga class I’ve been to, I’ve never walked out feeling as light as this, it was flawless.”
